From San Jose:

- Bus: Alfarobus – daily from the city center in “Parada de la Coca Cola”  at 12.30 pm, arriving in Samara about 05.30 afternoon.

- Bus: Interbus- Time 8.00 a.m. every day from various points in San Jose (online booking)

- Flight: Intern with Sansa-Air. Airport Clock 8.10 a.m, to Carillo or to Nosara (online booking)

- Hotel Pick up service: Reservation needed, from intern. airport or from any Hotel in San Jose, $150

- Car: from San Jose to Samara, Rent a car from Wild Rider

By car:

1- Airport High Way Panamericana. towards Puntarenas or the new highway Santa Ana to Atenas and Puntarenas.

2-In the direction of Nicoya over the Puente de la Amistad (Tempisque bridge).

3- By Nicoya and directly to Samara.

4- About 6 km from Samara is on the left a Gas Station (Samara Bomba)

During the rainy season

1- after the gas station turn right in the next crossroad towards Nosara.

2- after about 9km you will reach a junction (in Barco Quebrado), where you must turn left towards Samara.

3- about 4 km is a small town “Esterones” where you turn right and follow the signs, after about 1 km turn left and you reach our Hotel Flying Crocodile.

During dry season

- after the gas station in the second Crossroad turn right

- after about 3-4 km you have to turn right and then cross the river  ( please cross the river on the left curve).

- follow the signs for about 2 km and then turn right , after you occur in a small village “Esterones’ please turn left in Ferreteria el Coyote.

- after about 1 km, turn left to the hotel, there is the Flying Crocodile.
